Elon Musk to Join Trump Administration in New Efficiency Department
The newly elected U.S. President, Donald Trump, plans to create a new government department, the Department of Government Efficiency, specifically for Elon Musk. Prior to the election, it was hinted that Musk would serve as an advisor to Trump.
Musk not only endorsed Trump publicly in this election but also dedicated nearly a year to campaigning for him. Furthermore, he encouraged voter turnout by offering a $1 million lottery prize to voters who cast their ballot for Trump. As a reward for these efforts, Musk has now been appointed to lead this newly established department.
The Department of Government Efficiency will also be co-led by Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate and prominent private-sector leader. According to Trump, this department will focus on issues traditionally beyond the government’s usual scope, aiming to enhance government operations with a focus on efficiency.
